Sanin Bogunić

LLM Sanin Bogunić was born 1977 in Goražde. He graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Sarajevo in 2002, and passed the bar exam in 2004. He obtained master’s degree in 2012, on the topic "Electoral System of Bosnia and Herzegovina - Alternative Models" at the Faculty of Political Science, University of Sarajevo.
Since 2002, he worked as a trainee judge, legal associate and legal advisor in the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In 2008, he was appointed to the position of Prosecutor in the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office.
From January 2015 to December 2018, he was the Head of the Department for Economic Crime and Corruption of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office. In addition, from 2015 to 2016, he was engaged as a consultant to the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of BiH and USAID within the Swiss project.
Since December 2020, he has been listed as a trainer on the regional list of trainers for procedural and substantive criminal law.
In 2016, he received scholarship from the US Department of State and attended a one-month active training in the judiciary and law enforcement agencies of the United States. From 2013 to 2016, he was a member of the administrative exam commission at the FBiH Ministry of Justice.
In 2012, he published the book "The Electoral System of Bosnia and Herzegovina - Alternative Models".
He was elected a member of the HJPC BiH by prosecutors of the cantonal prosecutor's offices in the Federation of BiH in July 2021, and he assumed the office on 8 September 2021.
